Background
Vidappt were engaged with DRG by Irish Ferries to develop a mobile strategy for their ferry services to and from Britain and France.
In line with Irish Ferries' progressive stance on the delivery of services to their customers the mobile strategy provides travellers to Ireland with the ability to book online from any location, at any time - as long as they have a mobile signal - using iPhone, Android and BlackBerry devices.
Solution
Our solution for Irish Ferries was based on our knowledge in providing Mobile Solution to the Travel Industry
Key to the success of the mobile solution was the provision of the booking facility on mobile devices whilst also providing a focused informational website for their customers on the go.
In addition to checking sailing times, getting real time sailing updates, customers can book the lowest fares and pay for their journey on any of our Irish Sea or indeed Ireland - France routes. And all this whenever, or wherever they are - even if they're already on the road to Holyhead or Pembroke.
